Basketball Camp Coach
Location:Â Massachusetts (Several Locations in Massachusetts)
Position Type:Â Seasonal, Part-time
Salary:Â Salary commensurate with experience and education.
Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Basketball Camp Coach to join our team for the upcoming summer camp season. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in basketball coaching, player development, and camp counseling. As a Basketball Camp Coach, you will be responsible for leading and instructing campers in basketball skills and drills, organizing games and scrimmages, and providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement age-appropriate basketball drills and activities
Provide instruction and guidance to campers on proper basketball techniques and fundamentals
Supervise and ensure the safety of campers during all activities
Organize and oversee games, scrimmages, and other basketball-related activities
Motivate and inspire campers to improve their skills and achieve their goals
Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and staff
Assist with the setup and cleanup of basketball courts and equipment
Understand and follow B.E.D.I (BASKETBALL ELITE DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE) detailed and structured curriculum
Coordinate with the Lead Coach to ensure consistent implementation of curriculum
Participate in all required training sessions
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a basketball coach or player development specialist
Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals and coaching techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well with children and provide positive reinforcement
CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
Background check required

Coach must be available for the entire duration of the camp
